5 Reasons Why Dascha Polanco Can Do No Wrong!

There is no question that the women from Netflix's Original Series “Orange Is The New Black” have taken the world by storm.  Slaying every red carpet and award show, while leaving us at the edge of our seats waiting for more.  Dascha Polanco is one of my absolute favorites and I’ve clearly added her to my  “Can’t Do No Wrong" list. One she is... Fearless!  I mean not too many women can pull off these hair color changes and still look flawless. Two she is... Real! In every interview and appearance, Dascha stays true to herself.  Always showing us a little of her humble yet silly and sassy side.   Three she is... Curvylicious! There is no doubt that Dascha has curves for days! She is honest about her challenges with her body image, but still  embraces every curve.  Four she is... Proud! Dascha is definitely proud of her Dominican roots and rich culture from her upbringing in Brooklyn and Miami.  She represents a multitude of women and is proud to

There is no right or wrong, so step out the box and go with what makes you feel good.  Two, accessories are everything! I mean what better way to give your outfit life then with a signature necklace, bag or why not just both?! Three and most important of all, don't forget to wear your  confidence!  It's truly what sets you apart from the rest.

Shop Majour and Courtney Noelle's Pop Up Shop

This past Saturday I took a nice drive to Brooklyn for the   Shop Majour   and   Courtney Noelle  Pop Up Shop.  As you ladies know I am big fan of both designers and had to check them out. Though after attending the Pop Up Shop, I might be one of their biggest fans.  I had fallen in love with Shop Majour's Mad Max Dress the moment I laid eyes on it a few months ago. So I walked in knowing that it was coming home with me no matter what. The 2x was a perfect fit and only $63! You can imagine how excited I was. I love me a sale!  I was so very impressed with the quality of all their pieces and looking back should have tried on a few others. All their fabulous accessories were also available. My favorite is their black lace  Paris Me Purse , which I don't know why I did not snatch it up too.  Picture Source: Shop Majour Instagram Account It was great to also have Courtney Noelle in the building. Every piece was absolutely gorgeous from the sparkling  Tina

Adjusting My Sail...

I sat on the edge of my bed trying to find the strength to take on another day. Simply trying to stay afloat and not drown in my own pool of tears. There is no denying that I am an emotional creature, but the past few weeks my life has been turned upside down.  From different challenges at work to healing from a breakup, all while dealing with family matters that I've avoided for years. See, I had declared that 29 was the year I was going to “get my life together”… whatever that meant. I was mentally preparing to sincerely work on becoming the best version of me, all before I hit the big three-0. Little did I know that literally days before my 29 th   birthday I would get a Facebook message from an excited eleven-year old that simply wanted to meet her big sister.  All of a sudden I wasn’t an only child anymore. More importantly, I was no longer able to avoid the multitude of emotions that came with dealing with my father and that part of my life. This all unav
