Project Runway: Curves?!

I love Project Runway, Project Runway: All Stars, Project Runway: Threads and clearly anything else they come up with. Every season, whether its Project Runway or Project Runway: All Stars, I sit and wish I could have it all. The good, the bad, the glamorous and even the most unconventional designs, yes I want them all!
The past season of Project Runway: All Stars was one of my favorites. I mean who doesn't love Sonjia Williams (PRW Season 10), Fabio Costa (PRW Season 10), Samantha Black (PRW Season 11 and a Theta Phi Alpha!) and Helen Castillo (PRW Season 12)?! While doing a little retail therapy, I found a few pieces that reminded me of these great designers. Some styles very similar and others completely different, but I swear they gave me the Project Runway  vibe.

As a huge fan of the show I think its time for a Project Runway: Curves. With the strives being made in plus size fashion, I think its time to have a season where talented designers create pieces for everyday women with curves.  For women like us with a little more junk in the trunk, with hips and curves and all the things that make us beautiful.

Clearly Helen Castillo did an outstanding job designing theses amazing dresses for the talented Miranda Lambert. I  mean that black dress, I NEEEEED it!

So its time to diversify the runway! Lets add some hips, thicker thighs and women with a little more jiggle when they strut. Lets design not only for the hourglass shape, but all women who deserve to feel and look beautiful.

As always ladies stay beautiful, love yourself and everything else will fall in place!

My Love Affairs With Flats...

Oh my love affair with flat… started around 2003. See somehow I stepped on a toothpick, yes I said a stupid toothpick! It was the summer before my junior year of high school and I had come home from my summer job. I took off my shoes and walked into the living room, where we had a thick shaggy rug. Somehow there was a toothpick and I steeped on it. We didn’t even have toothpicks at home! To make a long story short, the following morning I ended in the hospital and it was like I never left. I had six  surgeries  between that July and April 2003. So clearly high heels have near been my thing. Though I think they are absolutely beautiful and wish I could walk at least to the car in them.  So I began my love affair with flats, always looking for comfortable and fabulous ones to make my outfits. Check out a few I am hoping to add to my collection this fall! Ballerina Flats with Gems (Zara) $ 59.90  Leather Ballet Flats with Blow (Zara) $ 59.90  Printed  Leather Slippers (Zara

Rules of Styling You Must Never Forget!

There is no right or wrong, so step out the box and go with what makes you feel good.  Two, accessories are everything! I mean what better way to give your outfit life then with a signature necklace, bag or why not just both?! Three and most important of all, don't forget to wear your  confidence!  It's truly what sets you apart from the rest.
