❤ About

Hello Queens!

Welcome to A Queen’s Fashion, Style and Curves! I’m Paulaska and I hope you join me as I take on this journey of Self-Love through fashion and style. With today's media and society pulling us in all different directions and telling us how to be and what to feel we forget the most important thing; to LOVE OURSELF!

We forget that we are LOVABLE! That we are WORTHY of GREATNESS! That we are BEAUTIFUL! That we deserve to be RESPECTED and treated as QUEENS!

I am tired of hearing that Queens are too big, too small, too curry, too short, too tall, too pale, to dark; always telling us that we need more of this and less of that!

I have been inspired by many and have high hopes of doing the same! So let talk about fashion and find the style that gives you the confidence to strut down any street and turn heads! Let talk about redecorating our homes and building our own castles! Let talk about hair and makeup while we fall in love with the women in the mirror!

Stay beautiful, love yourself and everything else will fall in place!

XoXo

Thinking of the BIG & TALL ❤ ❤ ❤

I was having a conversation with this amazing teddy bear (heyyy boo!) and realized that though we are more accepting of the plus-size man, the big teddy bear and overall the “big & tall”, their options for fashion are almost non-existent! I thought we had a limited selection as plus size women of stores, designers, fashion bloggers, and so on, but it is enormous compared to the options men have.   As I did a little research, I came across a great article,  “Why are there no plus-size male models?” .   Which was something I had honestly never paid any mind to.   This article sheds light on the reality of the double standards we have in our society.    Mark Simpson was quoted saying, “Part of the reason why there are no plus-size male models is that there are no politics behind it. It’s not a controversial issue in the same way that it is for women. Men are objectified all the time in the media, but it’s not called ‘obje...

Rules of Styling You Must Never Forget!

'Fashions fade, style is eternal.' - Yves Saint Laurent Read more at http://www.marieclaire.co.uk/blogs/542820/the-40-best-style-quotes-of-all-time.html#SYrae4BgEz4L73EZ.99 I had the great pleasure of styling the  award-winning activist, choreographer, and writer,   Mark Travis Rivera ,  for the opening night of  the 4th Annual Six Degrees of Separation: Balance vs. Chaos showcase at  The Actors Fund Arts Center !   When it comes to styling,  whether  someone like the talented Mark Travis Rivera, a friend, or your fabulous self, it's important to keep three rules in mind.  One, style is totally personal! There is no right or wrong, so step out the box and go with what makes you feel good.  Two, accessories are everything! I mean what better way to give your outfit life then with a signature necklace, bag or why not just both?! Three and most important of all, don't forget to wear your  confidence!  I...
