A Queen's Fashion, Style & Curves

I had the great pleasure of assisting the talented Brandee Joyner and the ManikMag team as they made history with New York Fashion Week Plus (NYFW+) ! And let me tell you that history was definitely made with a week of astonishing fashion presentations from eight phenomenal designers. The collections from  Oseas Villatoro , Danielle Ferguson , Harvest Powell ,  Eula Taylaor ,  Ava Jones , Marco Hall ,   Phoenyx  Reign , and  Tatiana Castro  were full of bold color, prints, and textiles! This past Saturday I took a nice drive to Brooklyn for the   Shop Majour   and   Courtney Noelle  Pop Up Shop.  As you ladies know I am big fan of both designers and had to check them out. Though after attending the Pop Up Shop, I might be one of their biggest fans.  I had fallen in love with Shop Majour's Mad Max Dress the moment I laid eyes on it a few months ago. So I walked in knowing that it was coming home with me no matter what. The 2x was a perfect fit and only $63! You can imagine how excited I was. I love me a sale!  I was so very impressed with the quality of all their pieces and looking back should have tried on a few others. All their fabulous accessories were also available. Yesterday I attended the third annual Global Citizen Festival in Central Park (NYC) featuring Jay-Z (who brought out Beyoncé), Carrie Underwood, No Doubt, Fun, The Roots, Sting,  Tiësto,  Alicia Keys and a few others!  It was truly an amazing experience, perfect weather and thousands of people all for a great cause! The Global Citizen Festival is not just a concert. See for those that don’t know it part of the  Global Poverty Project .
