Red Carpet Look For Under $200!

As many of you know a  few months ago I had the great pleasure of styling the award-winning activist, choreographer, and writer,  Mark Travis Rivera , for the opening night of   the 4th Annual Six Degrees of Separation: Balance vs. Chaos showcase at The Actors Fund Arts Center.   Many fell in love with the look and upon request it became the look for the Somos Loud  national multi-platform campaign, debuting in New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami during National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 th  – October 15 th )!  For details on the look make sure to see m y previous post,   Rules of Styling You Must Never Forget! .  I was also asked to style the talented Mark Rivera for the Somos Inaugural Gala in Los Angles, California.  My goal is always to find an  inexpensive look that makes my client feel comfortable, confident, and fashionable.  So ba ck to Forever 21 ; inex...

Shop Majour and Courtney Noelle's Pop Up Shop

This past Saturday I took a nice drive to Brooklyn for the   Shop Majour   and   Courtney Noelle  Pop Up Shop.  As you ladies know I am big fan of both designers and had to check them out. Though after attending the Pop Up Shop, I might be one of their biggest fans.  I had fallen in love with Shop Majour's Mad Max Dress the moment I laid eyes on it a few months ago. So I walked in knowing that it was coming home with me no matter what. The 2x was a perfect fit and only $63! You can imagine how excited I was. I love me a sale!  I was so very impressed with the quality of all their pieces and looking back should have tried on a few others. All their fabulous accessories were also available. My favorite is their black lace  Paris Me Purse , which I don't know why I did not snatch it up too.  Picture Source: Shop Majour Instagram Account It was great to also have Courtney Noelle in the build...

Global Citizen Festival...More Than A Concert

Yesterday I attended the third annual Global Citizen Festival in Central Park (NYC) featuring Jay-Z (who brought out Beyoncé), Carrie Underwood, No Doubt, Fun, The Roots, Sting,  Tiësto,  Alicia Keys and a few others!  It was truly an amazing experience, perfect weather and thousands of people all for a great cause! The Global Citizen Festival is not just a concert. See for those that don’t know it part of the  Global Poverty Project . Which is an international education and advocacy organization with its vision and goal to end of extreme poverty by 2030!  The festival not only included the artist I mentioned, but  Queen Silvia (Sweden),  Princess Madeleine (Sweden) ,  Prime Minister Narendra Modi  (India),  Prime Minister  Sheikh Hasina (Bangladesh),  Prime Minister  Erna Solberg (Norway), Ban Ki-moon (U.N. Secretary General) and Jim Yong Kim (President of the World Bank)! I felt privileged to be in at...
