Global Citizen Festival...More Than A Concert

Yesterday I attended the third annual Global Citizen Festival in Central Park (NYC) featuring Jay-Z (who brought out Beyoncé), Carrie Underwood, No Doubt, Fun, The Roots, Sting, Tiësto, Alicia Keys and a few others!  It was truly an amazing experience, perfect weather and thousands of people all for a great cause!

The Global Citizen Festival is not just a concert. See for those that don’t know it part of the Global Poverty Project. Which is an international education and advocacy organization with its vision and goal to end of extreme poverty by 2030! The festival not only included the artist I mentioned, but Queen Silvia (Sweden), Princess Madeleine (Sweden)Prime Minister Narendra Modi (India), Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina (Bangladesh), Prime Minister Erna Solberg (Norway), Ban Ki-moon (U.N. Secretary General) and Jim Yong Kim (President of the World Bank)! I felt privileged to be in attendance and hear how they were taking actions to end of extreme poverty.

Being a Global Citizen is taking action! Its taking part of the movement! Being educated on the issues here at home and around the world while encouraging others to do the same. Learning the challenges with food & hunger, education, women & girls, water & sanitation, enterprise & innovation, health, and sustainability.

I am a Global Citizen and hope to inspire you to take action! Sign up today and just share one article, sign one petition or send one email about a cause that speaks to your heart. If we all take action a difference will be made!

I mean what better way to give your outfit life then with a signature necklace, bag or why not just both?! Three and most important of all, don't forget to wear your  confidence!  It's truly what sets you apart from the rest.
